Who I am and what I do

My name is John Forehand, I grew up fishing. I love to fish both fresh and saltwater. I make custom fishing rods, and something that I have noticed about a truly custom fishing rod is that the person using it has a much better time fishing because it is made especially for them. From the rod blank to the color of thread, it is up to that person. I do not make fancy fishing rods, I make rods that are reasonably priced for those who wish to purchase a custom rod. These rods are simple, in that they have only a small decorative wrap and information about the rod itself. Having only started in June 2011 I have only built a few rods, but the ones I have built, I was meticulous about every detail. As you will see in my pictures, I have tried to the best of my abilities to produce a rod worth bearing the Forehand name. To get an estimate for a custom rod simple leave me a message stating what length, tell me if you want spinning or conventional, and tell me what kind of fishing you will be doing. From panfish to Redfish, chances are if you want it I can build it.
